Play a key role and become a part of your community theater by volunteering at the Linkville! Our volunteers provide an invaluable service by donating their time, talent, enthusiasm, and love of theater. During rehearsal and production periods, all of the elements that are required to bring a theatrical production to the stage come into play: poster and program design, advertising and publicity, press releases, tickets, sets, costumes, lights, sound, special effects, hair and make-up design, ushering, stage management, etc. – all play a part in making a production seem as if it didn’t take any effort at all! The Linkville Players serves as a forum for teaching theater basics and production techniques to anyone interested in volunteering to work in the theater, whether onstage or off, and seeks to foster a continuing interest in the performing arts among members of its audiences as well as among those who are actually involved in its theater productions. The Linkville Players will consider original scripts for production. Along with your play submission, please include a letter that details your contact information and any special terms or requirements for the production of your play, including the cast requirements (number of males, females, children, etc.) and set requirements (interior, exterior, various, etc). If you would like your manuscript returned to you after our review please include a self-addressed stamped envelope with the proper postage for the postal weight of your manuscript.
